Dante Autullo Lodges Nail in Brain for 36 Hours

Chicago resident Dante Autullo was doing construction work when he fell from his ladder, hitting his head as he landed. Dante Autullo also lost grip of his nail gun. You see where this is going.

The nail gun fired a 3 1/2-inch nail into Dante Autullo's head. The nail lodged in Autullo's brain. He didn't realize that the nail had gone into his head, treating the injury with Advil.

Only after working a full day's shift as a snow-plow operator did Dante Autullo begin to feel unwell, and went to the hospital. So, 36 hours after the accident, doctors performed surgery to remove the nail from Dante Autullo's brain, and he seems to have suffered no permanent damage.
