Another 'black widow' story. It seems that for some when you've killed once and got the insurance money you just can't stop. There must be a tome somewhere by an emninent or otherwise psychologist that explains the motivation beyond greed for the Black Widow Syndrome - if not it needs writing.

A GRANNY accused of hiring a hitman to kill her hubby 22 years ago is suspected of foul play over the deaths of her other four husbands.

Betty Neumar, 76, was arrested after detectives uncovered new evidence on the 1986 gun murder of Harold Gentry.

They found she was tens of thousands of pounds in debt with 36 credit cards at the time – and had asked several people to kill the 48-year-old.

After he died Neumar, dubbed the Black Widow, collected his £10,000 life insurance and moved away.

Now the deaths of her first four husbands – dating back to the 1950s – have been reopened.

Two others were similarly shot dead and cops say the first death was also “suspicious”.

They seized the urn of fifth hubby John Neumar at the gran’s home in Richmond County, Georgia, US, and are carrying out tests on his ashes.
