Prostitutes and Their Clients Could Get Some Privacy in Zurich After Complaints From Residents

Zurich police have conceded that they cannot completely get rid of prostitution in their city, no matter how hard they try, so in order to learn to control it they are proposing to build drive-in sex boxes.

This will enable the prostitute and their client to have some privacy and will help keep what they are doing somewhat private. Thousands of people whose homes overlook the red light district have complained to police that they are getting tired of the sex acts in the middle of the day.

'They get up to all sorts in broad daylight - and we're sick to death of looking at it,' said one.

The drive-in sex boxes looks like a parking space, but with walls surrounding three sides of it so that as much privacy can be maintained as possible. The idea is already in place in cities such as Essen and Cologne in Germany.

No word on if there will be a time limit on such boxes or how many of them will be built around the city.
