It's enough to make E.T. phone home, or at least the governor's office. The U.S. Air Force has officially retired the F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter, and that may bode ill for one remarkable and peculiar Nevada institution. Why, the UFO business, of course.
Out at the Alien Research Center, George Harris celebrates Area 51 and the UFO phenomenon with a store and museum. Its Web site features a flying saucer beaming up a cow. Among the messages on his T-shirts: "If aliens are smart enough to travel through space ... then why do they keep abducting the dumbest people on Earth?" and "Some call it mutilation. We call it barbecue."

Greg1usa - I have been hearing a lot about Area 51, here, on the east coast. I can see how the F-117 could be mistaken for a UFO, it's design is unusual.

Who's to say the F-117 wasn't inspired by alien technology? There is so much information/disinformation on the subject of UFOs that it's difficult to separate fact from fiction. I'm glad there are groups like the Disclosure Project (http://disclosureproject.org) who have credible witnesses to these events from positions in government and private industry.
