Family hospitalised over jiggers

A mother and her three children are admitted to Kiambu District Hospital (Kenya) after being infested with jiggers. Ms Maryann Muthoni, 40, and her children aged between six months and eight years from Kanunga were taken to hospital by neighbours after noticing their suffering. Her husband and first-born son are also infected but were treated and discharged. Muthoni said she detected the fleas three months ago
