First pregnant man tops list of bizarre nominees

Thomas Beatie, the self proclaimed “World’s First Pregnant Man,” is among the nominees in the 2008 GaySocialites.com Awards. Website www.lesbianivf.com is reporting that among the other nominees are such flamboyant identities as “Dirty Sexy Money” actress Candis Kane, New York City’s Drag Queen of the Year Peppermint Gummybear, New York nightlife personality Amanda Lepore, foul mouthed New Orleans born drag queen Bianca del Rio and the drag queen who plays Mary annually in off-Broadway productions of “Virgin Mary” - Mimi Imfurst.

They’re all nominated in the Most Talked About Drag Queen or Transgender person.
