The Forest

I don't know if that's what this project was really called... I just kept hearing people refer to it as "The Forest." It had a smoke machine, and flashing lights, both of which could be controlled by the people inside. I was drawn in later on in the night, by the beautiful sound of someone playing this instrument that looked like a UFO with small indents that the player tapped with the tips of his fingers.

Once inside, the lights and smoke made it almost impossible to see, and all you could feel was the warmth of other people. I imagine the structure was a backdoor out of the party, in some sense. But I don't think it emptied into the alley, or anywhere in Bushwick at all, for that matter...
