Geisy Arruda, a student from Brazil, was expelled from college after wearing a pink mini-skirt to school. The Geisy Arruda mini-skirt apparently caused an uproar among the students/fashion police at  Bandeirante University in Sao Bernardo do Campo.

In an incident on October 22, Geisy Arruda needed a police escort after wearing a mini-skirt to class. She had to cover the mini-dress with a labcoat and leave the campus as students hurled insults at her. 

The school published an ad, titled "Educational Responsibility," the college said it decided to expel Geisy Arruda after warning her about her dress.

Since the incident, the Geisy Arruda video was posted to YouTube, eventually becoming a news story throughout Brazil.
