The Godiva Syndrome - psychic sump discovered

The phrase 'sent to Coventry' describes the action taken against someone when a group decides to shun and not talk to an individual that was part of their cultural group.

Psychic researchers have now described a phenomenon known as the Godiva Syndrome so called because it has been observed in the UK city of Coventry where Lady Godiva rode naked through the streets to free the people from high taxes and oppression.

It is claimed that the area around Coventry and West Midlands acts as a giant psychic sump causing buildings to be 'sad' and various geographical and urban features to be 'depressive'.

The Two Tone ska band The Specials came from Coventry and they famously sang of how Coventry was 'coming like a ghost town' perhaps that feeling was also due in part to the Godiva Syndrome.

Researchers reportedly used the psychic mediation tool Oracle Reprocessed Stewart Home (Oracle RSH) to reveal the Godiva Syndrome locus.
