this story needs some work. but i liked the original one. in New Brunswick the Valedictorian is chosen by the senior class by votes; its a shame how this girl is getting the short end of the stick for excelling.

I think that the school's decision was based on too strict a reading of the bylaws. She completed the course, and with the highest GPA, so she should be valedictorian.
