Green tea coca cola is soon to debut in Japan as spokesman Katsuya Sato says that the new green tea coke will hit stores in Japan on June 8th.

The drink contains tea antioxidants called catechins which leaves a green tea aftertaste and is introduced to the market niche of women in their 20s and 30s who are health-conscious.
Pepsi is countering Green Tea coke with Pepsi Shiso which is a basil-flavored coke which will be in stores in June.

Coca Cola is the leader in Japan's cola market but faces stiff competition from non-carbonated bottled drinks such as tea, coffee and fruit juices.

Interesting moves to gain market share. I am not sure either of these flavors sound good to me.
