If you're throwing a Halloween party, you may want a few recommendations for Hallween music that go beyond "Monster Mash."

At any Halloween bash, there are two things you can count on: more than one woman will show up in a Catwoman costume and at some point you will hear "Monster Mash". The novelty song was written in 1962 by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and has become a Halloween staple even though no one actually likes the song.

If you're hosting a Halloween party, here are a few other options:

-Michael Jackson "Thriller"

-Whodini "Freaks Come Out At Night"

-Warren Zevon "Werewolves of London"

-DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince "Nightmare on My Street"

-Screamin' Jay Hawkins "I Put a Spell on You"

-KC & the Sunshine Band "I'm Your Boogie Man"

-Ray Parker Jr. "Ghostbusters"

-AC/DC "Highway To Hell"

-Dusty Springfield "Spooky"

-Charlie Daniels Band "Devil Went Down to Georgia"

-Oingo Boingo "Dead Man's Party"

-Bauhaus “Bela Lugosi’s Dead”

-Santana "Black Magic Woman"

-Blue Magic "Born on Halloween"

-Donovan"Season of the Witch"

-Jimi Hendrix "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)"

-Geto Boys "My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me"

-The Dramatics "The Devil is Dope"

-Brian Auger & Trinity "Black Cat"
