Hee Orama Calls 911 Because Boyfriend Won't Marry Her

Hee Orama from Clarksville Tennessee is under arrest for repeatedly making non-emergency calls to 911 because her boyfriend said he wouldn't marry her.

Police did respond to two calls, but after she called again they told her she would be arrested if she kept calling. She called again a few minutes later and then she was arrested. Her bond is $250.

Police said Orama's calls cost city workers many hours addressing the situation. 911 supervisor Julie Vogle said they receive non-emergency calls frequently, which often forces two or three officers to respond."If the officers are running emergency traffic, that's putting several lives in danger, including the citizens," said Vogle.

She was also arrested last week for repeatedly calling 911 because she couldn't find her car.
