Interfaring any other countries domestic affairs to make unrest and to disturb public life is a shamefull act.

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Delhi Assembly on Friday condemned the US, Israel and other Western countries' interference in Iran's domestic affairs, saying the Presidential elections in the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in a democratic way.

In an interview with the Islamic republic news agency, Parvez Hashmi said, "Western media played a role in causing unrest, following the June 12 Presidential Election, to destabilize Iran."

While calling the elections held in a most transparent manner in Islamic system which was founded by Imam Khomeini, Indian leader expressed the views that violence, after the election in which Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected President for the second term, is being instigated by foreign elements.

Pointing to the enemies of Iran's provocations and certain behind-the-scene plots to instigate street riots, Parvez advised the youths of Iran do not fall into trap of Western governments conspiracies and follow up the affairs peacefully.

He also asked US and other Western nations to stop meddling in domestic affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Indian leader while congratulating Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his victory hoped that the next term would witness progress on the relations and cooperation between Iran and the rest of the world in establishing peace in the Middle East.
