Unable to move and without a mobile phone, food or water, the Kerang local spent the night waiting for help with a severely broken leg, wrist, jaw and pelvis.

Somebody give this guy a fucking medal. What a hero! Had it been me, I'd have passed out from a lack of broadband access (ADSL2 only please), knowing I'll never eat beef again (stupid cow!) and knowing My Damsel in Shining Armour is a water contractor.
