Mistakes are the most valuable events that enable people to gain unforgettable knowledge. Especially when mistakes are significant and exposable to the public, it would be life time knowledge. So, why people hate mistake if it is a learning factor? Why people worry making mistakes?
According to Kolb’s learning theory, learning should be deliberate from every day events and practices. It is true that one should not make mistake deliberately for the sake of learning as it would be self cheating. But once a mistake is made unknowingly, it must be taken as enjoyable and articulated in a daily diary to learn from it and transfer it to others learning.
The stupid thing is repeating same mistakes again and again. Repeating mistake comes from failure in self-managed and deliberate learning approach. Otherwise, there is nothing in the world as mistakes that provide concrete and unforgettable knowledge.
