A life-size Lego house in England was torn down last night. The Lego house, which was created by TV host James May, consisted of approximately 3.3 million bricks. Legoland had planned to buy the Life Size Lego House, but the deal ultimately fell through. Legoland officials said the $100,000 cost of moving the life size Lego house at its Windsor site was too high.

James May originally built the life-size Lego house for an episode of the BBC TV series Toy Stories. The house was built in a vineyard in Surrey, but the land was needed for something else, forcing the Lego house to be moved or taken down. After Legoland backed out of their deal, May tried to find someone else to take the house, but all prospective buyers were scared off by the cost of moving a life-size Lego house.

The Lego from the demolished house will be given to charity.

Here are photos of the life-size Lego house.
