Who knew the Star Wars Kid was ahead of his time? A new fitness group--NY Jedi--has created the Jedi workout, a mix of martial arts and cardio exercises designed to boost your fitness level and metachlorian count.

The workout, which was featured on NBC's Today Show, features several signature moves. There's Force Jumps, a variation of squats. Hyperspace Holds are something like planks, which develop core strength. There there are Lightsaber Pulls, which help boost arm strength.

Unlike a lot of workout regimens, the Jedi workout doesn't involve a lot of fancy equipment: all you need is a lightsaber and maybe a fancy cloak.
