JFK's murder still felt 40 years later

"I remember thinking that it was not possible that a president could actually be shot," recalled another man. "It scared me as a child."

According to officials, Lee Harvey Oswald gunned down Kennedy. They said he fired the shots from the sixth floor of what was then the Texas School Book Depository.

But decades later, polls suggest that two-thirds of Americans remain unconvinced that Oswald acted alone. Conspiracy theories range from a mob-orchestrated hit to an assassination planned by Communists.

Give me a break, it's the sun's light hitting the front passenger's head.

Big T, the intro to the clip says "This film has not been edited, altered, or changed in any way." Then the film clip's creator identifies it as the Zapruder film.

No, that is not the unedited, unaltered, or unchanged Zapruder film.

Here's the orignal, the first time it was ever shown in public, by Geraldo Rivera.

Note that the Zapruder film is the 8mm, grainy, black and white film of that era. The purportedly "unaltered" clip not only has music added, but it is bad colorization of the original black and white, with what looks like additional computer enhancements. Just compare them. On the reference above, you can also see a computer animation film of the assassination (properly identified as such)--compare it to some of the elements in the altered Zapruder film cited.

Also, the driver's name was William Greer, not Green.

This story has been around for a long time. It's been debunked numerous times, even on the 'net, more than 10 years ago. Also, for driver William Greer to have killed Kennedy, he would have had to drive, turn around, shoot past Gov. John and Nellie Connally in the jump seats, and then hit JFK in the head, while moving and driving, with a handgun of that era. In addition, the Connallys would both have had to not notice that the driver was shooting at and past them. The Secret Service agent in the right front seat would have had to not seen the driver twisting around beside him and firing a gun past him. That's a lot of "if's" required to create a scenario.

This clip has been clearly shown to be a disproven theory.

PEP, thanks. As you can probably tell I don't keep up on my conspiracy theories.

Figures you would say that. But it's not JUST a reflection. It's a reflection, but then the driver has a gun...

The "gun" is the reflection.

Don't worry "T", even when you willing move into a FEMA camp, I'll still be out there fighting for ya. So, no worries, the government loves you, sleep tight.

You obviously have no idea where I stand on issues because, if you knew where I stood, you would definitely not think I was someone who loved the government. But you'll probably spin this into something else (what, by the way, do "FEMA camps" have to do with a conspiracy theory about the JFK assassination?).
