Joseph Carnevale, a university student in Raleigh, North Carolina, repurposed a bunch of traffic barrels to create a giant hitchhiking traffic barrel monster.The Internet absolutely loved it, but the police were not amused.
An article in the college newspaper led the police right to Carnevale, who as charged on June 10 for vandalism. While the construction company says it is impressed with the project (and wants Joseph Carnevale to create another barrel monster fro their head office), the police refuse to rop the charges.
Joseph Carnevale was arrested and charged with larceny and destruction of property after building the 10-foot "barrel monster."
