Joseph Guiso Marries His Dog in Outdoor Ceremony

Joseph Guiso of Toowoomba, QLD married his Labrador Retriever, Honey, in a simple outdoor ceremony attended by family and friends at Laurel Bank Park.

Joseph Guiso said that Honey, whom he adopted five years ago, was his best friend, and that the relationship was in no way sexual.

"You’re my best friend and you make every part of my day better," Mr Guiso’s vows read.

The couple decided on the location – and to tie the knot - after stumbling upon a wedding in Laurel Bank Park during an afternoon walk.

"I said that could be us," Mr Guiso said.

"She didn’t say anything so I took that as a yes."

Joseph seems to have decided he needed to offer that disclaimer for his actions but, ....

ANYWAY, didn't know you could marry animals in Australia.
