The skeleton of Joseph Schexnider was found stuck in a chimney in Abbeville, Lousiana.

Joseph Schexnider had been missing since 1984.

Back in May, 2011, workers found human remains while renovating a part of the Abbeville National bank that had been closed for three decades. The results of DNA tests, whic were released on July 27, 2011, found that the remains consisted of the skeleton of Joseph Schexnider.

Joseph Schexnider disappeared in January 1984. At the time, Schexnider was facing charges for possessing a stolen vehicle. Schexnider disappeared and many presumed he fled due to his legal problems. He was never heard from again.

Friends and family are wondering just what happened on that day in 1984. Thus far, there are no answers as to how Joseph Schexnider ended up in that chimney.
