Clifton Williams, 33, of Illinois, went to court to support his cousin who was facing drug charges, but instead found himself jailed for contempt of court after yawning in front of the judge. Williams had stretched out his arms and let out a loud yawn, which annoyed the judge enough to hand out a six month sentence. What Clifton Williams perhaps did not know was that the judge had a record of sentencing spectators more often than his colleagues.
Williams' cousin was sentenced to two years probation.
Williams' family is flabbergasted by the decision but can't afford an attorney to appeal. "It's crazy," his aunt said. "This could happen to any one of us."

I don't know a thing about what went on. I will pass my judgment on the judge in this case as I have witnessed many Judges with a complete disregard of the law as well as the constitution they are sworn to uphold. The only opinion they are interested in is their own. I hope the Judge winds up making a celebrity out of this kid.
