Karl Stefanovic's Dalai Lama Joke Fails to Impress Dalai Lama

When sitting down with the Dalai Lama, Australian TV presenter Karl Stefanovic was unable to resist telling a joke: "The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop and says, 'Make me one with everything.'"

Whether the joke was lost in translation or the Dalai Lama just didn't think it was funny, we will never know. Explaining a joke never helps, either.

However, Stefanovic cracked himself up, along with the rest of the Channel 9 presenters, as he has a history of doing. Long, stabby thing, anyone? At any rate, the Dalai Lama eventually laughed, most likely at Karl Stefanovic's anguished awkwardness. It made for really fun television, though.
