"Tats are too painful to be slept through while on the receiving end. This guy most have some super unique technique and tools. Slept through the receipt of 56 tats on the face, no way"!!!

Let me tell you, this girl knew what was going on the whole time,,I own a tattoo shop and no one could sleep through this...unless she was doing some heavy drugs or she was passed out from booze, and if she was, the artist should not have done it,,this girl wanted this and she knew she was in trouble when she got home and Daddy and boyfriend went nuts...hey girl,,you got what you wanted,,stop crying

1. I have heard of people falling asleep [I almost did] during tattoos, but on the face with a loud tattoo machine going off beside your ear? Highly unlikely, unless you were drugged and drunk, in which case, you shouldn't be getting a tattoo to begin wiht.

2. He does look scary, but he's in a profession where it's accepted. Most legitimate artists will never tattoo the face, neck, or below the wrists, for first-timers. It's a rule of thumb here in the biz...so that's his fault.

And three...3 tattoos would've looked just as ridiculous. Kat von D wannabee? Nope. Epic fail? Yes.

As painful as tattoos are, I don't see how that girl could've possibly slept through it. I have a kitten tattoo on my right ankle, and a kitten head on my left shoulder, and as painful as that was, there was no "falling asleep"--I was glad to get it over with...I think she wanted all those stars on her face, and then when her father and bf seen it, and pitched a fit, so she comes up with this story of having "fallen asleep" during it. All I can say is that she needs to "grow up" and face the music.

Bullshit this lady is a lying sack of shit. Tattoos hurt and she would have stayed awake for 3 of them. They would have taken no time at all. She was made fun of and has decided to not take the blame. This lady is pathetic

this girl is an idiot, she thinks she has everyone fooled, i read in another article that there was a witness that was in the parlor and she got up several times to look in the mirror at the progress of it.  once her dad and boyfriend freaked she did too, and she's not going to admit she's the moron that wanted this.  and if it was only suppose to be 3 stars she wouldnt have had time to fall asleep during it, it would have taken 5 minutes.   she's lucky the guy is willing enough to pay half even though it was what she wanted

Yea, it IS possible to fall asleep while being tattooed (I did, during a 4-hour back piece), but highly doubtful you'd fall asleep with someone jabbing needles in your face, especially if it was your first time....sorry, I don't buy it!

Did anyone think of handing her a mirror to ok the stencil before inking?

I agree with you guys. Shes scared. young, and got in way over her head and lieing because she too late to change her mind.

I would never let my students get that many tattoo on their sweet little faces, i mean 56???? gee louise that's too much and ouch! laser removal. English is really important to learn and understand, i certain that's what was the problem.

From Japanese perspective, we understand that she wanted to have a "3" shape tattoo using 56 starts.   Look at her face.  It's a perfect job.  So there's no language barrier to blame.

Maybe she can use the money to buy a new brain? She certainly needs one.

I don't think you'd fall asleep having your face tattood!

She may not have felt any pain, but she would feel something. When I had my tattoo done, it felt annoying/irritating. I wouldn't have slept.

And on the face? You wouldn't slepe through 56!!!! And they arnt badly done either, so its not like he did it really quickly.

Plus, they show you the design in removable ink before they began the permanant tattoo, which they only do with your full conecnt.

I have a tattoo in remembrance of my father who just passed away 2 years ago. The tattoo is of his face and whenever I look at it my heart smiles. Does that sound like an overrated fad?????
