Gerry Matley and Catriona Smith have been bombarded with phone calls from Soulja Boy fans, since theirs matches the phone number recited by Soulja Boy in his new single, Kiss Me Thru the Phone.

"It's easy to understand that, isn't it? When you look at me, I've got the perfect profile for a rapper," joked 54-year-old Oldham native Gerry Matley. His wife, Catriona Smith, said: "They have asked if I am his girlfriend but I think I am a bit too old, even for Soulja Boy."

Catriona Smith said that many of the fans thought they were actually reaching Soulja Boy himself, though it's unclear what makes them think that the teenage Atlanta rapper lives in Oldham, Lancashire.
