Las Vegas hotel room mock-up awaits O.J. jurors
Jurors in the OJ Simpson trial will get to see exactly what it feels like to have a 322 square foot hotel room with nine men all cramped in there.
Workers have built a mock-up of the hotel room where OJ Simpson is accused to have led the armed robbery of two dealers of sports memorabillia about a year ago.
One of our members, vegaswatchdogdotcom was outside the courthouse to get some video.
Wheat says District Attorney David Roger had a 23-foot-by-14-foot "room" built in the courthouse basement. Testimony is continuing in a 15th floor courtroom.
"Nothing's real," Wheat says. It's just plywood and pressboard, including the walls, queen-sized bed, armoire, desk, chairs and night stand.
A spokesman for the district attorney declines to describe how or when the mock-up might be used during the trial.
