Lawn Mower Beer Run Nets Charges

In a move that must have seemed logical at the time, a Maine man and his buddy rode to the local liquor store on a lawn mower. He and his friend were nabbed as they emerged with renewed supplies.
The local constabulary were alerted to the pair on the mower by motorist who reported a meandering mower.

Trooper Joe Chretien had been flagged down by several motorists warning of a wayward mower and made the arrest after Ross and his friend emerged from a variety store with two cases of beer.
