Linda Lou Taylor, World's Most Married Woman, May Wed Again

Linda Lou Taylor, the Guinness World Record Holder for number of times married, says that she's opened to getting hitched for the 24th time. Ever the optimist, the 68-year-old Taylor has been married 23 times, which all fell apart for various reasons. Two of her husbands turned out be gay, one ended up in jail and two ended up homeless.
You would think that a woman who was married 23 times would have given up by now, but Taylor is single and looking to mingle. But she does have some ground rules she hopes will make her 24th marriage last.
She has been single now for a dozen years, her longest stint unmarried since childhood. Since her last groom, she hasn't dated and she doesn't kiss. Wolfe has the record, but she would rather have something else, more common and more lasting.
"But I would get married again," she said, "because, you know, it gets lonely."

We had a community dinner at our church back in the late 1990s, and Linda showed up for it. She seemed very normal and nice.
Hopefully during the several years when she hasn't gotten married, she has gotten a handle on what she was doing wrong the other times.
My guess is that she might have been too much in love with the idea of marriage and was putting on blinders when it came to the various potential husbands because she wanted to be married so badly.
