A Photo Showing What Some Are Saying is the Loch Ness Monster in Lake Windermere in 2011 Could Be the Best Evidence Available That the Monster Exists

The photo below was taken by Mr. Tom Pickles when he was kayaking on Lake Windermere as part of a team building exercise last Friday.

The photo shows three humps breaching the surface of the lake, and Mr. Pickles said it was something like the size of three cars speeding past him.

He said: “It was petrifying and we paddled back to the shore straight away. At first I thought it was a dog and then saw it was much bigger and moving really quickly at about 10mph.

He said it was unlike any animal he had ever seen in his life.

Known as 'Bownessie' to the locals, this could be the eighth sighting of the creature.

Photo expert David Farnell of Farnell’s photographic laboratory in Lancaster said: “It does look like a real photo but because it’s been taken on a phone the file size is too small to really tell whether it has been altered on Photoshop or not.”
