Lonnie Holloway had an unusual final request: the 90-year old man requested to be buried in the front seat of his car.  When Lonnie Holloway passed away he was placed in the front seat of his 1973 Pontiac Catalina along with a few of his prized possessions, with his gun collection in the trunk. Lonnie Holloway, of Saluda, South Carolina, had been talking about this final request for a while, according to those who knew him.

"He was a unique individual. He said when he died, he didn't want to leave his guns here because somebody might take them and shoot somebody, so he took them with him," said Lonnie's cousin Johnny McCloud.

Lonnie Holloway was laid to rest in his car by a crane brought in to move the classic ride into a plot ajoining that of his wife, as his friends and family took photos.
Holloway's cousin, Leila Dunn, says the unusual burial didn't surprise her because Holloway was a 'stylin and profilin' kind of guy.
