Louvre Pyramide

This was my first trip to Paris, and I was looking forward to many hours of art bathing. Unfortunately, the Picasso Museum and the The Musée de la Mode et du Textile were closed; but I did get to spend a ridiculous amount of time at the Louvre, as well as the Centre George Pompidou. I wasn't sure what to expect with the combined periods of architecture at the Louvre, and did find the glass pyramid a little out of place upon approach. However, the light-play and shadows it provided, as well as the sheer breadth and beauty of its structure won me over. As my captions say, "meh on the outside, pretty cool on the inside."
