A woman reported finding a lottery ticket that was already scratched on her doorstep. The ticket promised to be a top dollar prize of thousands of dollars. The ticket checks out to be legitimate and the UPC number accurate but, June Wincock called the Lottery Commission and was told to go to 11 Cummings Park Drive in Woburn, MA to cash it in. Then, she was told to go to 60 Columbian Street, Braintree, MA and she was wondering if it was some hoax. There are six lottery offices now in the Boston area to claim prize tickets. Christine Anders, assistant to Tim Cahill confirmed the locations of each office building. The Lottery Commission in Massachusetts is one of the most lucrative agencies in the Commonwealth. "I just don't understand who would have left this lottery ticket for me," said Wincock. "It seems like they could be trying to lure me to go somewhere but, maybe it is for real. I just don't know, yet!" "It could be the gentleman who brought me a winning ticket before that "I do" love. He owes me at least 700 dates and four cars," said Wincock. Or, maybe it's an old ticket I bought already and it fell out of my car onto the driveway. In any event, whoever left this "lucky" lottery ticket for her gave her thousands and thousands of dollars. . He must really love her or else, he doesn't want her to keep breaking his bank when she finds out what he's doing.... Stranger things have happened in the East Coast before this odd circumstance. Maybe this money came just in time for her daughter to attend a private school this fall? "That would be great!" she said.
A Message from Treasurer Tim Cahill When you play the Lottery, you’re helping to support the 351 cities and towns of Massachusetts. Lottery funds play an important role in the economic health of The Commonwealth.
