The National Post drew attention to an article in The Australian about a guy in India, Viabhav Bev, who supposedly sued Unilever for $100,000 because, after using Lynx deodorant for seven years, he was still single. (Lynx is called Axe in north America). The original article was removed, both from The Australian and PerthNow. No way they'd pull a story like that unless it was fake.

Apparently Vaibhav Bev believed that TV commercials where women threw themselves at men wearing Lynx deodorant, were real.
WA Today still has the story:

A New Delhi court has accepted half-used body washes, shampoos, anti-perspirants and hair gels for forensic testing in the case.

Sure enough:

UPDATE: This has been confirmed as a hoax.
An Indian man is suing Unilever after seven years of using a deodorant manufactured by the company failed to deliver him a girlfriend
Not sure how they confirmed that it's a hoax
