Maggots versus ants 5

I discovered an epic battle between an army of angry ants and a pack of largely defenseless maggots in the vicinity of our trash can. The maggots didn't stand a chance against the relentless killing power of the ants. I've always enjoyed seeing the way ants overpower thier prey with numbers, as well as the disturbingly purposeful movements of the blind and weak maggots, so this was pretty exciting for my insectophile ass.
