MAN ARRESTED AFTER WOMAN ESCAPES HIS "BASEMENT TORTURE ROOM"

It starts off like a tasteless joke, but a 26-year-old Israeli woman living in Hamburg, Germany was held hostage in what she called a homemade "torture chamber" booby-trapped with fire extinguishers filled with explosives. Detectives think that Fischer, who is 30, intended to torture her in a yellow, soundproofed phone booth he somehow installed in his living room.
