Roller-coaster engineer Chris Walker has a job with its fair share of ups and downs but pressing up and down on a baby reindeer's chest and giving it the kiss of life have, until now, not featured in his job at Twinlakes Park in the Leicestershire town of Melton Mowbray, UK.

Chris was watching the birth of reindeer Snow White on Sunday when he noticed that she wasn't breathing. The park's farm director was off-site and so Chris stepped in to help giving the calf mouth to mouth and massaging its chest until it was breathing and had a good heartbeat.

Sandy Gyovari who is the Twinlakes Theme Park manager said:

"We have named her Snow White, as she was brought back to life by our very own Prince Charming."

Snow White's birth follows on from the birth of reindeer Bluebell who was born on May 11th at the Trevarno estate, near Helston in Cornwall, where they are still celebrating what they claim is the first reindeer born in the far south-west of England for thousands of years

"I checked her airway was clear, rubbed her briskly to stimulate the heart and gave her a couple of breaths in her mouth - as soon as I was confident that she was breathing I left her to bond with her mother."

Park rangers believe that if the calf had been born in the wild she would not have survived.
