Man Jailed for Singing "Spiderpig" Song From Simpsons To Police Officers
A Scottish man was sentenced to jail time for singing the "Spiderpig" song from the Simpson Movie to police officers.
David Mullen was sentenced to three months for breaching the peace after singing the Simpsons song, which was his cell phone ringtone.
Mullen, who has a history of legal problems, was also given eight months in prison for assaulting a police officer and breaching a curfew while on bail.
Mullen was arrested after getting into a bar fight. He sang the song to officers while sitting in the police van after arrest. He claims that he started singing the song because it was his ringtone, but police officers took offense and charged him with breaching the peace. Officers also claim that Mullen called a red-headed policeman on the scene a "ginger".
