This afternoon a man was reportedly stabbed in the eye at the Savoy Pub on Hastings St., just east of Main & Hastings.
According to a witness, police took everybody out of the bar, stopping traffic to get them across the street to the police station for questioning.

That is why I do not go to the Savoy Pub! And it explains the traffic jam yesterday.

The traffic jam on Thursday Oct. 23 was due to a party held on Hastings St. without a permit by Insite supporters. They disrupted traffic and then police shut down the entire 100 block of Hastings. I was just about to post a story and photos about that party.
