CCTV Video Catches Man Swinging a Cat

Mowgli the cat had a rough day outside the Camden Arms pub in Ramsgate, England. CCTV cameras (they're everywhere in Britain) caught an as-yet-unidentified man swinging the cat by his tail while dancing across the road.

You can see the video, which made Sky News, below via LiveLeak. The CCTV footage also made its way to YouTube, but has since been removed. The veracity of the video was debated on Reddit, but Mowgli is a real cat, and he was really swung around by his tail.

This incident echoes the case of Mary Bale, who was caught throwing a cat in a wheelie bin. The fallout was huge: Bale began receiving death threats, and was eventually fined for cruelty to animals.

Mowgli's owners described the cat as "emotional" and "distraught" after the attack.
