match made in heaven - US and Al Qaeda
WSJ Reveals: Saudi's Pressure Iraqi Sunnis To Work with Al Qaeda To Arm Syrian Opposition
In a revealing article in the Wall Street Journal entitled "Iraqi Tribes in Bind over Syria Arms," journalist Sam Dagher reveals that Saudia Arabia and Qatar are pushing fellow Sunni tribes in Iraq to back the arming of the Syrian opposition by Al Qaeda.
After the US invaded Iraq following 9/11, claiming falsely that Saddam Hussein was allied with Al-Qaeda, the US and its allies have now given Al-Qaeda a foothold in Iraq it did not enjoy under Saddam Hussein.
Now the US is working hand in hand with al Qaeda, the organization that brought us 9/11.
The Wall Street Journal article reports: "`Arms are going through,' said Abdul-Rahim al-Shammari, the head of the local government security committee in Nineveh province, which encompasses the Iraqi city of Mosul and the Syrian border crossing at Rabiah.
He said the Islamic State of Iraq -- an al Qaeda affiliate widely believed to be based in Nineveh -- has a virtual monopoly on the flow of arms and fighters to Syria."
The article goes on to report: "Saudi Arabia and Qatar are among the states taking a lead in backing armed anti-Assad groups and pledging to do everything they can to strengthen these forces.
Several Sunni Arab Iraqi tribal leaders said they are coming under pressure to follow suit." "The Islamic State of Iraq, the al Qaeda affiliate, is exploiting what Mr. Shammari called fear among the tribes and corruption at the poorly manned border."
Think for a moment about those Americans who jumped off of the WTC on September 11, 2001. Now think about the tax money the survivors of those people pay to the US government, that goes to the perpetrators of that atrocity. Time for high-fiving or puking? Maybe its time to acknowledge to ol' Ben Franklin, well we tried but we can't keep this republic.
