Goat Chase Makes Global News

Melbourne police had their hands full trying to catch a runaway goat in Parkville. Though the goat was roaming near the Melbourne Zoo, she was not an escapee.

The rogue goat had been spotted the week before on the Citylink (the motorway that cuts through Melbourne). The police finally managed to apprehend the goat, who was brought to a local dog shelter.

For some reason, the goat chase video made the TV news in North America: last night this video got several minutes of airtime on one of Canada's national news programs.

I guess people got sick of talking about M.I.A.'s middle finger, and the consensus was reached that we should all watch goat videos instead.
