Incase you don't know or have not heard our own Moon is to be bombed by NASA with the use of  Centaur Kinetic warhead.  What NASA is claiming the purpose of this mission is to create a potentially large 5 mile wide crater to search for possible landing sites and even water.  This would be favourable for future human missions and/or colonies.  The problem is this, by bombing the moon in many exopolitic experts opinion is this action will cause an all out war in space with extraterrestrials.  These same extraterrestrials even have bases and crafts placed on the Moon.   There is a great article from a friend of mine Alfred Webre posted on www.examiner.com regarding this from an exopolitics point of view.

Email President Obama or the White House with your concern and perhaps we can have this mission either halted or stopped entirely.

Remember the former Canadian Minister Of Defence, Paul Hellyer warned of war in space if certain actions were not stopped especially with the use of weopans in space.

There is also the potential risk of another alien invasion of sorts an all out infestation of lunar bacteria raining down on the Earth.  Who knows what full effect or consequences  the outcome of the Moon bombing will be.

Throwing a bit of life on what is really happening as you did not supply enough information?

NASA will tomorrow launch a spectacular mission to bomb the Moon. Their LCROSS mission will blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying a missile that will blast a hole in the lunar surface at twice the speed of a bullet. The missile, a Centaur rocket, will be steered by a shepherding spacecraft that will guide it towards its target - a crater close to the Moon's south pole. Scientists expect the blast to be so powerful that a huge plume of debris will be ejected.

Nope it will not start a space war as there is far too much space between us and any other form of inteligent life in this galazy let alone the universe..

i did that purposely babel the reader has to decide for themselves what our moon means to them although your added material is a kind gesture i think perhaps you should have im me first to discuss this matter.  No hard feelings just next time lets speak off the record about adding to someone else's piece.

have a super night!

Don't know about alien moonbases... but I was thinking about this today.  Here's what I posted at "blogs.washingtonpost.com/thefix" under the thread, "The Most Important Number in Politics Today" -- feel free to spread this around the web if you'd like.  I want some answers, too.

MOST IMPORTANT NUMBER IN WORLD HISTORY TODAY: 3?

* What's NASA Got Against the Man in the Moon? Or Do They Just like to Blow Stuff Up?

* What About the Moonlight? Will It Go Dim?

* Should POTUS Intervene to Save "The Light By the Silvery Moon"?

THREE.

That's the number of days until NASA sends a projectile crashing into the moon, causing a massive explosion expected to send a six-mile-high plume of debris -- visible from Earth -- into the lunar atmosphere (or is it a vacuum-a-sphere?)

The stated reason for the "Mythbuster"-like exercise: To determine if there's a substantial amount of water on the Moon.

Question for NASA scientists who may happen by here:

Is this really the best way to divine for H2O? Don't we have less destructive ways to do this? Or is this just a cover story to cloak the real reason for this lunar fireworks display?

What's the explosive trigger? Is this actually some sort of a microwave or laser or plasma or particle beam directed energy weapons test -- a doomsday weapon?

It's been eons since the last massive lunar impact. Will this NASA adventure dim the moonlight? And for how long? Should they be messing with "Earth's Night-light" like this?

Who is to say that this explosion might not cause a fracture in the lunar surface that could trigger a massive "moonquake" -- possibly enough to affect the lunar axial rotation, nudging the moon out of its orbit and perhaps causing the sphere to lose orbital velocity, sending the orb on a collision course with the Earth? If not soon, sometime much sooner than would would have been predicted by astrophysics?

Okay, I know... this sounds ridiculous. I'm no astrophysicist. But how much does NASA really know about the plate tectonics of the moon? Who's to say this explosion might not trigger some unanticipated consequences?

Didn't someone wisely say, "Don't mess with Mother Nature?" I am being serious here! Inquiring minds want to know...

Got links, anyone? This one does not answer the question, but raises similar concerns:

I think that if Moon have aliens and NASA bombed on moon then it may be possible that aliens will treat this as a war between Humans and aliens. Then it will be very harmful for our earth and all of us.

...Let's not forget back in the 60's NASA impacted the moon with exploratory spacecraft to ready the landing missions...this was not looked at as superstitious or some theory of evidence of NASA wanting to control the moon or better yet...the universe...of course we know the real reason NASA is going to crash a spacecraft into the moon....what kind of CHEESE is the moon made of !?...

I am deeply worried about human ignorance. The attempt to bomb moon is the height of human ignorance. Our material quest of nature without understanding the Truth of Nature has already rendered earth and cosmos unstable. If you stand back and observe, we note that the natural catastrophes have both increased in number and magnitude in parallel to explosion of material knowledge and material exploitation of nature. It could be suicidal to stress nature without first understanding the Truth of Nature, its interrelationship, oneness and its working. I write this comment as a scientist who worked in the field of biotechnology and set out seek Truth of Nature. There is an important point to which I wish to call worlds attention. Earth is balanced by two opposing cycles of energy. When west awakes to sunlight and goes into disorder, east simultaneously sleeps to darkness and goes into order vice-versa. These opposing cycle maintain order and temperature of the world. The increase in temperature and consequent climatic catastrophes we are observing can be linked to the fact we have upset the energy cycle of nature. Unless humanity awakens to this truth, we are bound to see some of the worst natural catastrophes and mother earth’s destructive reactions.  I speak to you from the back drop of over two decades of selfless research that gave me insight into Truth of Nature and its functioning. I call upon the media and intellectuals in the Temples of Science to look at it. The site where the information exist in   sites.google.com/site/awakeningtotruth

So I'm just curious.  Now that's it's over, the moon has been bombed and the planet has not declared martial law on itself because of the "potential risk of another alien invasion" (by the way, when was the first one?), the moon is still in one piece and still floating in the sky right where it was before they bombed it, not even the TIDES have changed...what do you have to say?  Isn't it possible that you were being a little bit paranoid because you yourself aren't a rocket scientist (like the people who ran this mission were) and you might not have known everything there was to know about bombing the moon?

I sure hope there weren't any unknown, endangered, moon-critters living in that crater.
