A photo posted on The Smoking Gun of a Vail skier dangling from the chair lift half naked after a ski accident has become something of an internet sensation.

According to the story posted on thesmokinggun.com, the picture was taken after a chair life accident that occurred after a fold-down seat wasn't placed correctly, causing the man to fall through the chairlift. The Vail skier fell through but his ski caught on the chair leaving the skier to dangle from the chair upside down. His pants also caught on the chair, exposing his ski bum to the world. The naked skier was left dangling for nearly 10 minutes before being helped down by rescue crews.

A local photographer captured the man's misfortune and the photo quickly spread around the web. The photographer who took the photo ended up being suspended from his job.

As for the pantless skier, he suffered no injuries, but did suffer from exposure not to mention a bruised ego.
