A large metallic space ball has reportedly fallen from the sky and landed in Namibia. The hollow metal ball, which weighs 13 pounds and has a circumference of 43 inches, lande nearly 500 miles from the capital city of Windhoek.
The origins of the Namibia space ball are unclear. Locals report have heard strange noises in recent days.
The Namibia space ball is believed to be made of an alloy that "known to man."
Locals have contacted NASA to shed light some light on the origins of the space ball.
Such space balls have been known to appear every once in a while.
What is the Namibia Space Ball?
There are no shortage of theories about the Namibia space ball. No doubt, there are a few folks who think it may have something to do with UFOs.
Discovery has a guess about the origins of the Space ball, stating that it's likely a "Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel" ( COPV), which it describes as an "exotic-looking chunk of space junk."
