NASA Astronaut Gene Cernan Visibly Angered By Orion Mission's End
The last man to walk on the Moon Captain Gene Cernan is visibly and understandably angered by the Obama Administration's cancellation of the return mission to the Moon titled The Orion Mission. By cancelling this mission Captain Gene Cernan illustrates the potential billions of dollars lost by man hours of employment, research, and more. Captain Cernan also discusses the International Space Station being lost to the private sector. There is also a difference of opinion between Buzz Aldrin and Captain Cernan of the direction of the American Space Program. Captain Cernan's stance on the importance of maintaining the Space Program is one that truly will better humanity , a tragedy if cancelled or shelved indefinately.
