NASA's Newest Astronaut is a Robot: R2 Has own Twitter Account

The first robonaut named R2 capable conducting real time movements including becoming socially aware by setting up it's own Twitter account twitter.com/AstroRobonaut will soon be in space working amongst it's human astronaut conterparts. For the past several months R2 has been put through extensive tests and upgrades at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. R2 has a busy schedule in August it will be shipped to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida for final testing in preparation for space travel. These tests are vital for R2 before joining the International Space Station and it's human crew.
