New Bigfoot Footage Emerges, Looks Extremely Fake

Imagine my delight when I saw headlines touting "new Bigfoot footage". I was psyched. I clicked through. The footage was shot by Thomas Byers and Carolyn Wright in North Carolina. Thomas Byers said of the supposed sighting, "‘It was truly one of the most amazing sites I have ever seen." Bigfoot is called "Knobby" in the Golden Valley, North Carolina area.

According to Thomas Byers, the Bigfoot/Knobby creature was pissed off and extremely stinky. Neither quite translates to video, though. To be honest, I was unimpressed. Either they staged it, or they saw someone else staging a Bigfoot shoot. Or maybe they stumbled upon a Star Wars fan-film in mid-shoot.

Don't let me sway you, though. Check the supposed Bigfoot video below, depicting a biped crossing the road. Is it Sasquatch? Chewbacca? Quatchi? A guy in a ghillie suit?

Note that this is not the first time we at NowPublic have been disappointed by Bigfoot claims. Monkey suits tend to be involved. The LA Times is equally dismissive of the Bigfoot video, but they don't explore the Chewbacca option.
