A new blog is devoting itself to chronicling the paranormal escapades of what the author refers to as "the most haunted painting in the world". The admittedly eerie painting, featuring an octagon shaped house framed by a tree and an abandoned swing, is purportedly host to a bevy of creepy incidents.

The owner of the painting issues the following warning before posting photos of the painting:

If you are particularly sensitive to metaphysical phenomenon or spirit energies, please USE CAUTION WHEN VIEWING THE PHOTO OF THE PAINTING. Many people have had very uncomfortable reactions to this painting both in person and in viewing photos of the panting via e-mail. At least 4 people have reported severe migraines, and many people have complained of a general sick feeling after viewing the painting. It also tends to evoke a paranoid feeling in the viewer.

Reports from several visitors to the site confirm the creepy effects of the painting, though there's no telling if it is the power of suggestion at work or something more otherworldly.

Keep track of the daily strangeness surrounding this painting on the haunted painting blog.

goaskalice, I like this story. It's good stuff. Weird. A painting that is haunted that gets people sick. Interesting... I hope I'm not going to get sick by looking at the photo at top.
