New Scientific Evidence that "Jesus Christ was born in a U.F.O."
This article is not intended to make fun of religion nor be disrespectful to others beliefs but to give a possible scientific explanation to the non-scientific answers we interpret from the New Testament.
Though not partially understood till recently although the use of astronomy happens to be one of the oldest sciences, anthropologists and astronomers alike have concluded that it could be possible that the "Star of Bethlehem" which the Three Wise Men also known as the Magi had followed from the east could be interpreted as a U.F.O. (Unidentified Flying Object).
The often misunderstood term "U.F.O." doesn't imply to an alien spaceship like most misinformed people have been led to believe but the term was first coined by the United States Air Force in 1952 simply referring to any aerial phenomenon which cannot be immediately identified.
In the case of the "Star" that the Magi followed, scientists now believe that the star was not only an unidentified flying object but also an alien spaceship which explains how it was able to hover over the birthplace of the Christ making it possible for the Three Kings to locate Baby Jesus.
Actual stars are massive luminous balls of plasma held together by gravity. Stars shine due to thermonuclear fusion at it's core which radiates into outer space. In order for a star, even a minimal sized star such as our sun to pinpoint an exact location on earth it would fry our entire planet as well as throw the cycle and balance of our solar system into oblivion.
During the era of Christ humans were one of several types of pre-Homo Sapiens known to exist which included Cro-Magnon. This belief comes regardless of what opinions other anthropologists have on the development of human intelligence among the various races spread throughout multiple environments at different intervals within the last 30,000 year period.
The belief that Jesus Christ was born in a U.F.O. conceived from a superior alien race as man had been created earlier stemming from a theory that humans evolved from the mixture of Alien and Ape within the last 100,000. For those of you who do not know of the possibilities and are so inclined to lean more towards William Jennings Bryan during the Scopes Trail, man is a Primate like no other, like it or not in more ways than one, directly related to the Gorilla, Bonobo, Orangutan, and the Chimpanzee. The Man-Ape Connection shares about 97.5-99% of the same Deoxyribonucleic Acid (D.N.A.). D.N.A. is the nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions for the development and functioning of living organisms as well as the blueprint or code for the instructions to construct other cells and carries the genetic information called genes. In the end you can say we are all a bunch of monkeys. One way or another.
The idea and beliefs about spaceships or aliens were considered too ridiculous and insulting to the Church which places man as a god-like creature described on the Sixth Day in The Creation "And God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness...' And God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him...." (Genesis 1:26-28)
Created that such an explanation was unheard of. 30,000 to 100,000 years beforehand our ancestor's primitive brain did not begin to develop effectively till he remained safely within the confines of his cave as opposed to spending most of his time chased by lions and bears from the Serengeti to the frozen tundra. This cave like atmosphere gave man the time necessary to build upon intelligence, getting him to think, to sway away from instinct, in further developing the mind which eventually led him to create weapons compatible or even better to that of the natural weapons of claws or teeth and the speed, strength, swimming, flying abilities of the beasts surrounding him. It just goes to show the mind is a terrible thing.
The belief that Jesus Christ was born in a U.F.O. from an advanced race is why some believe he was so smart and the mystery of how mother Mary became impregnated by the holy spirit can now be scientifically proven by today's methods of artificial insemination. This further explains why Mary the mother of Jesus was said in the bible to have not had relations with Joseph the Carpenter when he was called upon to become the surrogate father of Baby Jesus.
MATT. 1:18-2:12
When Mary was engaged to marry Joseph and before they lived together, she was impregnated with a child from the Holy Spirit. Joseph, being a righteous man, planned to dismiss her quietly, but an angel came to Joseph and told him not to be afraid because the child was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Yes Jesus Christ could have been born in a U.F.O. during the era known as the Axis Age which describes the period from 800 B.C. to 200 B.C. when the foundation of individual thinkers within a framework of changing social environments came into existence. During this magnificent era the birth of many paradigmatic personalities came to be such as Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha), Homer, Socrates, Confucius, Zoroaster etc.. A Second Axis Age would not occur for another two thousand years later during the Age of Enlightenment with such thinkers as Renee Descartes, Baruch Spinoza, Nicolaus Copernicus, Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei, etc.. and that religion today needs to return to the transformative axial insights, in contrast, to this modern era which has been suggested as the new axis age, whereas it is actually retrograding as traditional relationships between religion, secularity, and traditional thought are changing for the worst. Man in time advances because of a few special individuals in the sciences but then peaks afterwards becoming a victim to his own vanity and greed, lusting for power in a field he did not earn but inherit.
In Christian Doctrine when one reads Romans 56-57 in the New Testament it tells of Christ dying and rising on the third day. Then in the Ascension it holds that Jesus' body ascended to heaven in the presence of his apostles. Could it be possible that Jesus was taken away by a U.F.O. such as an Alien spacecraft. I don't know. I wasn't around. All I can do is listen to what the priests have to say and interpret the bible which I hardly read. The U.F.O. is about as close as an explanation there is in solving one of the many mysteries of Christianity unless you willing to believe that the bible was also written by William Shakespeare. At least the King James version of it. The use of applying science to religion sounds too far fetch to me. I just can't find a way for religion or science to coexist.
Tomorrow April 12, 2009 is Easter Sunday. Celebrate it as you wish.
"It is difficult to discuss the beginning of the universe without mentioning the concept of God. My work on the origin of the universe is on the borderline between science and religion, but I try to stay on the scientific side of the border. It is quite possible that God acts in ways that cannot be described by scientific laws, but in that case, one would just have to go by personal belief." Stephen Hawking

There was also a (very surreal) UFO/Christianity crossover in Monty Python's Life of Brian.

It's been so long since I seen it my declarative memory cannot recall the scene. Perhaps when I wrote the article my subconscious mind came into play unconsciously. Thanks for the info. I need to watch it once again.

Good story. Zecharia Sitchin, an anthropologist, has written a series of books to prove that the human race was genetically engineered by advanced beings from another planet, who were revered as Gods in ancient times and that Sumerian, Hittite and Greek mythologies were actually interrelated and based on fact.
at 15:20 on April 12th, 2009
I'm going to look up Zecharia Sitchin. When I wrote the article as a joke I was thinking more of L. Ron Hubbard though I'm not a follower of Scientology. Thank for the info.
at 18:15 on April 12th, 2009
I don't necessarily believe in that story either, but I think that some open minded exploration into human origins, spirituality and UFO's is long overdue...
at 20:29 on April 12th, 2009
I checked up on Sitchin. I found criticisms that at the time he wrote his book only a few specialists could read the Sumerian language but now his translations of both individual words and of larger portion of ancient texts are generally found to be incorrect. Not much different then Hubbard I guess. I do agree with you that an open mind is necessary to explore human origins, spirituality, and U.F.O's. Curiosity to seek the secrets of life leads to adventure. Sadly Stephen Hawking the theoretical physicist doesn't believe in extraterrestrial life. He's into black holes.

So that was what the bright star was then..... Hmmm.....

U.F.O.'s have been around a long time. Some believe they may also be responsible for Abscam, the Lame Duck Sessions, and Elian Gonzalez' cousin Marisleysis.

"scientists now believe that the star was not only an unidentified flying object but also an alien spaceship "
wheres your evidence to back up this silly claim? What scientists and when?
"All I can do is listen to what the priests have to say and interpret the bible which I hardly read. The U.F.O. is about as close as an explanation there is in solving one of the many mysteries of Christianity unless you willing to believe that the bible was also written by William Shakespeare"
How can you make such a statement when you admit in the same breath the you havent really read the Bible?
Although I do believe the origins of Man are more than we are to believe, i do not take comfort in your ifs, buts, and dream ups of statements.

Don't take things too serious..the article was placed under the category of "Strange" for a reason. It's not to be taken literally. Regardless what I said at the beginning it is poking fun of organized religion but not at one's faith. That's how the article ends.
As far as the scientists who stated this theory I think it was Flaco and Shorty from Columbia University and Harvard. Maybe it was Eduardo Galeano.
I haven't read the bible in decades which is why I "hardly read"..I listened to the priests (Christian Brothers) for about 9 years in Catholic school till I decided to get the hell out of the dark ages. You have to self-interpret what I write in my articles because I explain things indirectly. After all it was intended for people who know not people who think.
The article was written the day before Easter sunday as a current event news story. It's based on certain perceived fallacies and/or accepted notions of christian doctrine concerning the Resurrection. For example I was gonna further expand on the article by references to forensic pathology. I was gonna take the factor of "Rigor Mortis" into account explaining that the conversion of glycogen into lactic acid causes muscular relaxation immediately after death which is followed by the gradual onset of rigidity without the shortening of the muscle. It is then attributed to the metabolization of muscle a short time after somatic death, or from products built up during the death event. As the pH decreases, there is a physical change in the muscle protoplasm. There is a cross-linking of actin and myosin by the presence of excess lactic acid. Rigor is typically quantitated by “mild”, “early”, “moderate”, “and “complete” as a descriptive statement of degree of change. This is totally subjective and two observers may have different interpretations. Usually, perceived stiffness in motion of a joint is “mild”,difficulty requiring force to move a joint is “moderate”, and having to use great force is “complete” rigor. Once the physical change of the muscle is forced, that degree of change will not reoccur, so that if someone has broken the rigor, it will not reform to completion. If only partial rigor is present, some rigor will continue to form. Being dead for three days and rising from the dead would dispel that scientific explanation yet some accept it as fact because the bible had no knowledge of this. We take what's in the bible as serious stuff but we never accept what's not written in the bible unless of course it's presented as poetic justice by Shakespeare or concurred by Oprah Winfrey or Ellen Degenerate. I decided to leave this paragraph entirely out of the story feeling it was being too drawn out and winded.
I also left out the "Lazarus Syndrome" which is the spontaneous return of circulation after failed attempts at resuscitation. Also called the Lazarus Phenomenon it takes its name from the biblical story of Lazarus, who was raised from the dead by Jesus. It's nice to know that science at times borrows from the bible but the bible never borrows from science. Like I said it's what's left out of the bible that counts.
In all actuality the true purpose of the article was to present my photograph of the genetic mapping of D.N.A. through my photography. A preamble towards my art. The ideology of my creations understood through science.
There's nothing wrong with screwing around with religion once in a while..I'm sure at times the Almighty can be the greatest comedian.
Oh and as far as you not taking comfort in my dreamt up statements, you should have read Dr. Watson's statements based on intelligence and race below my photo. As my mentor I believe he was wrong. Race doesn't factor in intelligence. I'm sure you agree with that.

AB5SY thank you for the info. and the link.. much appreciated..
"Waiting for the U.F.O.'s" (reply to WM H's request that Ace Preston should be arrested for absurdity in the first degree with intent to do mental harm).
The writer WM H is an elderly retired male residing in Oklahoma. One of my favorite songs happens to be Merle Haggard's "Okie from Muskogee". Well he seems upset with the federal government as well as my minor story on the "UFO" which he took literally. This is usually the case with most of my first drafts.
I usually write a first draft for myself as it's inner audience compiled with emotion and satire which I permit to share with my limited readers then I tone it down a bit with logic and neutrality for about five percent of the population.
I have many critics among me and few admirers which is a positive thing because it gets people to think outside the box. My critics are not bad people they are just misinformed and not familiar with my style and approach to documentary writing. Some have been misguided since childhood by the institutions they and their parents once entrusted. Now they feel abandoned and betrayed.
Obviously this writer has no understanding of what the true definition of my article and the timing of it was about. He doesn't see my own questioning of the misled facts from the very same institutions which manipulate us... governments, media, organized religion. I don't mean to perceive negativity on such establishments, they are meant for good and have done well for the most part. What I meant is that every once in a while it is necessary to restructure, further develop, advance, and replace what has broken down or become obsolete with modern methods and scientific approaches. Even though I am a traditional person I don't actually believe in ratifying such measures to a means but perhaps the next generation will do so as I step aside.
Again the writer is an older person than I therefore I must respect my elders and the generation before me but he must also accept the fact that perhaps I've been to places maybe he has never seen and experienced things he has never known.
The fable format I was originally attempting to create did not fall in the category of the "Tortoise and the Hare" or Chicken Little though similarities are quite different they seemed the same.
I believe the Greek philosopher Socrates was once charged with the "corruption of the youth" and sentenced to death. I am honored to be placed in such a category by the writer though I certainly don't believe I've earned such standings but I do welcome to be in the company of such men as Galileo, Columbus, Nietzsche etc..
Perhaps Dr. James Watson did steal the formula of D.N.A. from the other, perhaps he is upset and bitter with the world because his child turned out not as he expected. I don't know these things but as a social scientist whatever I write reverts back to my photography.
How many words can a picture describe? My photos are limited to how much you are willing to expand your mind. Do you want to be a tiny creature clinging onto the earth or do you seek to venture out into the unknown and clash with the titans!
I would be disappointed to think that for "freedom of speech" this man would want me, the writer, arrested and condemned. How thoughtful or had I thought Oklahoma was an internal section of the United States of America and that there still existed a Declaration of Independence, a Constitution, and a Bill of Rights. I wish he had written to me directly so that I perhaps in all my madness could have addressed the issue directly had he the chance to read my second draft perhaps his opinion might have oscilated.
Regardless, I wish this man no harm because deep inside I am a true Christian. As for U.F.O.'s being alien spaceships I certainly do not believe in that nonsense. No superior being would have an even slight interest in such a maniacal species.
In due time with advancements in science anything that has been unknown or "unidentified" will be brought to light to include disease, environmental issues, war, famine etc.. Then and only then can we finally put an end to this chapter of mankind known as "The Dark Ages" and break the chains of brute force and ignorance which has engulfed us.

Ace,
You got it a bit confused. The Desire to have you arrested was not my statement, I cut and pasted your story on my blog, complete with a known Ufologist (did you know that many Ufologist wear tin foil hats to prevent aliens from taking control of their brains?) reaction to your article. I will not mention his name, but you can read his reaction below.

Sorry Wm H it seemed that way to me after I read it. I apologize.
The info. on "Ufologists" makes my story on the "U.F.O." seem not as funny. They seem like the kind of people you want at a party.
Thanks for the clarification... A.P.
